15 top mobile phones The best smartphone of 2019

1. Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus
The best smartphone around

Publication date: March 2019 Weight: 175 g | Dimensions: 157.6 x 74.1 x 7.8 mm | OS: Android 9 | Screen size: 6.4 inches | Resolution: 1440 x 3040 | CPU: Snapdragon 855 / Exynos 9820 | RAM: 8 / 12GB | Storage: 128/512 GB / 1TB | Battery: 4,100mAh | Rear camera: 12MP + 12MP + 16MP | Front camera: 10MP + 8MP

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is still the best smartphone that is currently available.

It's a big phone designed for big hands - and it takes the very best of what's on the smartphone market and puts it together in an attractive package that we are happy to test.

Screen: The Super AMOLED 6.4-inch screen is measured as the very best, with super colors, a large dynamic range and, essentially, the very best viewing experience that you can have on a mobile phone.

In addition, a fingerprint scanner is built into the display.

Battery life: the battery life on the Galaxy S10 Plus is and the improvement over the S9 Plus, thanks to the larger battery of 4,100 mAh inside. The bed easily reaches bedtime with double digits that are still in the tank.

The S10 Plus also offers the new wireless PowerShare from Samsung, with which you can charge other devices on the back of the handset wirelessly.

Camera: the trio of cameras on the Galaxy S10 Plus are among the best on the market, building on the excellent setup of the S9 series by offering more functions, recording modes and overall clarity.

Mini judgment: the Galaxy S10 Plus is full of the best that Samsung has to offer, and it comes together to offer you the best smartphone experience right now.

2. Huawei Mate 20 Pro
The best Huawei phone so far

Date of issue: November 2018 Weight: 189g | Dimensions: 157.8 x 72.3 x 8.6 mm | OS: Android 9 | Screen size: 6.39 inches | Resolution: 1440 x 3120 | CPU: Kirin 980 | RAM: 8GB | Storage: 256 GB | Battery: 4200mAh | Rear camera: 40MP + 20MP + 8MP | Front camera: 24MP

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is the best phone from the Chinese company to date and offers an intoxicating mix of design, power and performance with a few party items being thrown in.

It is based on the excellent P20 and P20 Pro and offers even more screen, improved triple rear cameras and a built-in fingerprint scanner.

Screen: The Mate 20 Pro has a huge 6.39-inch screen that offers plenty of room for games and movies, and the QHD resolution and HDR10 support ensure that everything looks good. However, there is a wide notch at the top of the screen.

Battery life: You get a great battery life for the Mate 20 Pro, and we regularly achieved a day and a half use of a single charge during our revision time with the handset.

Camera: the Mate 20 Pro comes with three rear cameras, and takes the excellent 40MP wide-angle and 8MP telephoto lenses from the P20 Pro - but the third sensor is new. It's an ultra-wide 16MP snapper that lets you cram even more of your surroundings into every shot.

Mini judgment: the Mate 20 Pro is a complete phone for a complete price - it even has a few tricks that you won't find anywhere else, and more powerful specifications than most of its competitors.

4. Samsung Galaxy Note 9
The best telephone for productivity-oriented energy users

Date of issue: August 2018 | Weight: 205 g | Dimensions: 162 x 76.4 x 9 mm | OS: Android 8.1 | Screen size: 6.4 inches | Resolution: 2960 × 1440 | CPU: Exynos 9810 | RAM: 6 / 8GB | Storage: 128/512 GB (up to 1 TB with card) Battery: 4,000mAh | Rear camera: 12MP + 12MP | Front camera: 8MP

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is one of the best phones that we have ever tested - and also one of the most expensive.

For that money, however, you get an extraordinary spec list, including the first regular phone that offers 1 TB of storage space and an incredible screen.

Screen: Let's go to that screen: it's beautiful. Yes, it is a bit narrow if you come from Note 5 or something like that, but the way it wraps around the frame, the smaller edges and the impressive color reproduction and brightness make it a real favorite.

Battery life: with 4,000mAh under the hood, the Note 9 has one of the largest batteries that Samsung has ever put into a device, meaning it can easily last all day (plus it has new cooling technology to make it longer during gambling sessions, although we have not seen much evidence of that). You can also easily charge via wireless and fast charging of boots in 17% battery in 15 minutes.

Camera: The cameras on the Samsung phones are part of the reason why they score so high in our list - the pure power and low-light performance are impressive. Photos are certainly more of the colorful side, but there are more AI smarts in the mix to help you take the right photo at the right time.

Mini-judgment: it is difficult to process the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in a mini-judgment - it does so much and we have not even touched the new Bluetooth S Pen with remote camera. The extensive quality screen, the battery life and the camera make this all a beautiful smartphone ... if you can afford it.

5. iPhone XS
The best phone for iPhone fans

Date of issue: September 2018 Weight: 177g | Dimensions: 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm | OS: iOS 12 | Screen size: 5.8 inch | Resolution: 1125 × 2436 | CPU: Exynos A12 Bionic | RAM: 4GB | Storage: 64/256 / 512GB | Battery: 2,658mAh | Rear camera: 12MP + 12MP | Front camera: 7MP

There is a new hero for iPhone fans, with the iPhone XS offering the best mix of features and price from Apple.

The larger screen and the battery of the iPhone XS Max may attract a little, but the standard XS offers better value for money if the huge display is not a must for you.

Screen: the 5.8-inch display looks great, with excellent colors and Apple's True Tone technology, which automatically adjusts to the best images depending on your current environment.

Battery life: The easiest way to describe the battery life on the XS is: just a little below average, but much better than any other (non-plus / max) iPhone we tested. In short, this means that you have to get a day out of a single charge.

Camera: the recordings we made with the iPhone XS were incredibly detailed and full of color and sharpness, jumping off the screen with the vibrancy. It may not be the very best camera phone on the market, but these are the best snappers you can find on an iPhone.

Mini judgment: the iPhone XS is simply the best iPhone that Apple has ever made - it has the fastest processor, the top screen and the least bezel there are. It is not a huge advance over the iPhone X (if you have this, it is not necessary to upgrade), but the upgrades that Apple has provided are welcome.

6. Huawei P20 Pro
An excellent flagship smartphone with top triple cameras

Date of issue: April 2018 | Weight: 180g | Dimensions: 155 x 73.9 x 7.8 mm | OS: Android 8.1 | Screen size: 6.1 inches | Resolution: 1080 x 2240 | CPU: Kirin 970 | RAM: 6 GB | Storage: 128 GB | Battery: 4,000mAh | Rear camera: 40MP + 20MP + 8MP | Front camera: 24MP

The Huawei P20 Pro is one of the best phones that the brand has ever produced and it is still the top of our charts. Even if you've never heard of this brand, the P20 Pro is a phone that deserves its place among the best brands out there.

Screen: the 6.1-inch screen is only Full HD, but that helps with the life of the battery. This is actually probably one of the weakest parts of the phone, because it lacks the color rendering of its rivals, but there is a screen protector pre-assembled, which is a nice detail.

Battery life: with the Huawei P20 Pro you get a day and a half from light to moderate use - it drops after a full month's effort and fills it with apps, but we still get a good day of hard use, which is great.

Camera: The camera is the eye-catching feature on the Huawei P20 Pro and offers three lenses ... and they are actually handy. The resolution is sharp, thanks to the brilliant image stabilization, the optimization of the software photos is excellent and with that 40MP sensor it is well done by Leica for good performance in low light.

Mini verdict: the main problem you have to overcome with the P20 Pro is that you may not be familiar with the brand, but that Huawei is not only a worthy competitor for Apple and Samsung, but also the greatest chance of greater price drops. first (which is worth seeing with our price finder below).

7. Google Pixel 3 XL
Still the best camera phone that we have tested

Date of issue: November 2018 Weight: 184g | Dimensions: 158 x 76.7 x 7.9 mm | OS: Android 9 | Screen size: 6.3 inch | Resolution: 1440 x 2960 | CPU: snapdragon 845 | RAM: 4GB | Storage: 64 GB / 128 GB | Battery: 3,430mAh | Rear camera: 12.2MP | Front camera: 8 MP + 8MP

If you are looking for the best camera phone on the market, look no further. The single rear snapper on the Google Pixel 3 XL (and the smaller Pixel 3) is the best we encounter.

You also get a large screen, a good battery life and sufficient power under the hood, making the Google Pixel 3 XL a great all-round flagship smartphone.

Screen: The 6.3-inch screen that dominates the front of the Google Pixel 3 XL is hard to ignore, but it still offers a chin ring that offers room for one of the two speakers with stereo sound to the front. The QHD resolution and HDR support ensure that everything looks good, but the notch is a bit ugly.

Battery life: the battery life on the Google Pixel 3 XL surpasses many of its rivals, comfortably one day on a single charge and sometimes halfway through the next, depending on your usage.

Camera: you may only get one camera on the back of the Pixel 3 XL, but don't underestimate it. The camera is able to produce some amazing results here, which makes taking great photos easy and fun.

Mini judgment: the Google Pixel 3 XL marries the best camera phone that we have ever tested with a substantial OLED screen. It's the right fit for people who don't mind cutting out the notch at the top and have already adjusted their grip for larger smartphones in the past.

8. Samsung Galaxy S10e
A palm-friendly smartphone with a series of flagship functions

Publication date: March 2019 Weight: 150g | Dimensions: 142.2 x 69.9 x 7.9 mm | OS: Android 9 | Screen size: 5.8 inch | Resolution: 1080 x 2280 | CPU: Snapdragon 855 / Exynos 9820 | RAM: 6 / 8GB | Storage: 128 / 256GB | Battery: 3,100mAh | Rear camera: 12MP + 16MP | Front camera: 10MP

Like the appearance of the new S10 and S10 Plus, but not a fan of their high price tags? Well, don't be afraid, because Samsung has taken care of you with the Galaxy S10e.

The Galaxy S10e has many of the flagship features of its more expensive siblings, but offers a more palm-friendly size and a few compromises to keep costs down.

Screen: You don't get a QHD resolution here, but you have to accept a Full HD + 5.8-inch screen - but the Super AMOLED screen offers a lot of color and a lot of pop.

Battery life: the battery life lasted one day with one charge - that's what we're used to from phones - plus charging via wireless network and Wireless PowerShare make topping up and other devices even easier.

Camera: The dual camera setting on the S10e is not as good as the triple cameras on the S10 and S10 Plus, but it is still very capable snappers who easily take quality photos.

Mini pronunciation: it's hard not to recommend the S10e to someone who prefers a smaller phone. Queen size, look elsewhere - this smartphone is for people who want to text and browse apps with one hand without compromising performance.

9. iPhone XS Max
The super-large iPhone is a great phone

Date of issue: September 2018 Weight: 208g | Dimensions: 157.5 x 77.4 x 7.7 mm | OS: iOS 12 | Screen size: 6.5 inches | Resolution: 1242 x 2688 | CPU: A12 Bionic | RAM: 4GB | Storage: 64/256 / 512GB | Battery: 3.174 mAh | Rear camera: 12MP + 12MP | Front camera: 7MP

Pronounced ten S (such as tennis) Max, the iPhone XS Max is a partial upgrade for Apple's iPhone X game-changing and partial upgrade for the larger iPhone 8 Plus.

It builds on the full screen, without notches, almost frame-free design with more power under the hood, improved cameras, a new storage option and a huge screen and an even bigger price tag.

Screen: The 6.5-inch OLED screen on the iPhone XS Max has really caught our attention - it's great for video streaming and gaming.

Battery life: it's slightly improved on both handsets via the iPhone X, but you'll still find that you plug both phones in every night, so you have a whole day in the morning.

Camera: the installation of the dual camera on the iPhone XS Max is fantastic. The Smart HDR mode makes images even clearer, clearer and more detailed, and Apple's famous, intuitive interface makes taking great photos a piece of cake.

Mini-judgment: if your hands are the same size as your bank balance, the iPhone XS Max lifts Apple's smartphone to a whole new level with lots of extra screen space.

10. OnePlus 6T
If you are looking for an affordable flagship, this is the best phone

Date of issue: November 2018 Weight: 185g | Dimensions: 157.5 x 74.8 x 8.2 mm | OS: Android 9 | Screen size: 6.41 inch | Resolution: 1080 x 2340 | CPU: snapdragon 845 | RAM: 6 / 8GB | Storage: 128 / 256GB | Battery: 3,700 mAh | Rear camera: 20MP + 16MP | Front camera: 16MP

The price of flagship telephones increases every year, but you don't have to pay a top dollar for a first-class experience.

OnePlus offers flagship telephones at a lower price and while the first few handsets did not interfere with established names, the more recent efforts have really favored companies such as Samsung, Apple and co.

The OnePlus 6T is the company's best flagship offering to date, with a host of advanced features and a price tag that is comfortably lower than the competition.

Screen: this may be a "cheap" flagship phone, but you still get a huge 6.41-inch AMOLED screen with colorful, clear and spicy images. It can 'only' have a filling HD resolution - and there's a notch at the top - but it's hard to beat for the price.

Battery life: OnePlus has made the 6T battery larger than the 6 it replaces, which has resulted in an improved battery life, allowing the handset to easily continue a full day with one charge.

Camera: there is a dual camera setting on the back of the OnePlus 6T, and although it is not the same height as the Google Pixel 3, Huawei P20 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S9, it is still an accomplished fact when you enter the price take into consideration.

Mini judgment: the OnePlus 6T is a beautiful and powerful smartphone that can compete with handsets from the larger and more established brands on the market, while this is price undercutting.

11. Honor view 20
The best Honor phone so far offers a real punch (hole)

Publication date: January 2019 Weight: 180g | Dimensions: 156.9 x 75.4 x 8.1 mm | OS: Android 9 | Screen size: 6.4 inches | Resolution: 1080 x 2310 | CPU: Kirin 980 | RAM: 6 GB / 8 GB | Storage: 128 GB / 256 GB | Battery: 4,000mAh | Rear camera: 48MP + 3D cam | Front camera: 25MP

The Honor View 20 is the best phone to come out of the Chinese brand, with a striking design on the back (that can divide its opinion), a lot of power under the hood, an impressive 48-megapixel camera and a 'punch hole' - display that the door enters the revolution after the notch.

Screen: there is a huge 6.4-inch screen on the View 20, so you have enough room to play with. It is the location of the front-facing, 25-megapixel camera on the screen, which is the real talk, because instead of appearing in a ring or notch that protrudes into the screen, it is surround per screen. It's different, but will it work?

Longevity of the battery: the Honor View 20 has a large 4,000 mAh and the result is a battery that lasts comfortably all day and is charged the next day in one go.

Camera: The View 20 is the world's first smartphone with a 48MP camera on the back, since the company has used Sony's new sensor to deliver a camera that really has a beating.

Mini-verdict: an ultra-high-resolution camera and a perforated hole screen are the highlights in Honor View 20, and they set a standard for this year's more expensive devices.

12. Google Pixel 3
A fantastic handy camera phone

Date of issue: November 2018 Weight: 148g | Dimensions: 145.6 x 68.2 x 7.9 mm | OS: Android 9 | Screen size: 5.5 inches | Resolution: 1080 x 2160 | CPU: snapdragon 845 | RAM: 4GB | Storage: 64 / 128GB | Battery: 2,915 mAh | Rear camera: 12MP | Front camera: 8 MP + 8MP

The Google Pixel 3 is the smaller brother or sister of the Pixel 3 XL, with a smaller screen and battery, but with the same power and an excellent camera under the hood.

This is a great device for those looking for a phone with the best flight that can be used comfortably with one hand (although those with smaller palms may still need both).

Screen: with 5.5 inches, the screen on the Google Pixel 3 is not really small, but it is one of the smallest in this list with the best smartphones. The Full HD resolution is not as sharp as the QHD panel of the bigger brother or sister, but it still looks great.

Camera: you get the same camera as on the Pixel 3 XL, and that's great news, because it's one of the best smartphone snappers we've ever tested. It is easy to use, extremely powerful and produces excellent shots.

Battery life: the battery life of the Google Pixel 3 is not as impressive as the larger Pixel 3 XL with a larger battery pack. It should give you a day of use, but don't expect it.

Mini pronunciation: if you are looking for a compact flagship smartphone with a leading camera experience, then the Google Pixel 3 is the best phone for its job.

13. iPhone XR
The best iPhone for the battery life

Release Date: October 2018 | Weight: 194 g | Dimensions: 150.9 x 75.7 x 8.3 mm OS: iOS 12 | Screen size: 6.1 inches | Resolution: 828 x 1792 | CPU: A12 Bionic | RAM: 3GB | Storage: 64/128 / 256GB | Battery: 2,942mAh | Rear camera: 12MP | Front camera: 7MP

The iPhone XR (pronounced 'ten R') is a cheaper smartphone from Apple that is aimed at opening up its mobile reach to more consumers, with a range of colors, first-class design and still a decent snail.

Although it doesn't cost as much as the XS or XS Max, the iPhone XR is not a cheap phone - it's just more affordable than the other two new iPhones.

Screen: the iPhone XR is possibly the cheapest of the three new iPhones from Apple, but is in terms of screen size in the middle of the trio with its 6.1-inch screen. This offers a lot of room for movies and games, although the resolution is in Full HD.

Camera: the camera on the iPhone XR does not reach the same height as its XS siblings and the portrait mode is a little shortcoming, but still offers the same intuitive Apple interface and an automatic mode than the best of most scenarios.

Battery life: the shining light for the iPhone XR is the battery life. If you are looking for an iPhone with great endurance, then this is it, with the XR easily charged a full day in one go.

Mini judgment: the iPhone XR is one of the best handsets that Apple has ever made, and that is mainly due to the excellent battery life.
